When you spend your career building something of value, many people want to know it will live on in their absence. You want clients who have trusted your legal advice to have someone else to turn to that you feel confident will provide equally good advice. At the same time, someone stepping into your shoes wants to feel like they are building on something of value, that their efforts in the coming years will build upon an already stellar reputation. This session will discuss some of the ways each side can walk away feeling confident their goals are achievable when an established practice changes hands.
