Breakout 12 | Mediation advocacy: Best practices representing your clients


This session will be divided into best practice for attorneys representing clients before, during and after a mediation. The course will cover practical skills in preparing you, your client, and the mediator to improve opportunity for success at mediation, including choosing the right mediator and the timing of the mediation. Strategies during the mediation will be reviewed including brackets and Mediator Proposals. Post mediation suggestions for following up with the mediator after the mediation session for cases that do not settle at mediation.
