Breakout 3C | Ethical issues in discovery (qualifies for 1.0 ethics credit)

This program will discuss ethical issues that arise in family law discovery issues, including when lawyers receive misappropriated or inaccurate information from clients.
 
Learning objectives:

• Learn techniques for responding to incomplete or evasive discovery responses.
• Understand your obligations when your client provides inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Gain insight into obligations and concerns when clients provide information obtained from opposing parties or third persons through irregular or unlawful means.
• Learn when an attorney can and should withdraw due to client discovery misconduct.
