This presentation will discuss how to assess your law firm’s present needs for law school talent. We will compare the costs versus the benefits of hiring law clerks to help you during the summer or even during the school year. We will discuss how to recruit, train and utilize law clerks in a way that benefits your practice while giving you an opportunity to assess whether he or she may be a good fit as a potential associate for your firm. Practical advice on contacting law schools and scheduling interviews will be offered, as well as important contact information and examples of form letters.
