BREAKOUT SESSION 3 | Limitations Period for Breach of Trust Claims: What is "Termination" for Purposes of 456.10-1005?

Practitioners must pay close attention to limitation periods in order to properly advise clients on the merits of their claims and defenses. While statutes of limitation are designed to provide litigants with clear deadlines, sometimes those deadlines aren’t so clear. This session will explore the limitations period contained within § 456.10-1005 as it relates to “termination of the beneficiary’s interest in the trust” and “termination of the trust.”
