As our population ages attorneys in almost any practice area need a general understanding of retirement benefits. This program will provide an overview of private and public retirement benefits, including the following:
- the distinctions between defined benefit and defined contribution plans;
- Section 403(b) and 457 plans for school, non-profit, and state and local government employees;
- IRA's;
- VA Benefits;
- Federal Government employee benefits; and
- Social Security benefits.
