Breakout session 9 | Missouri cannabis law

From medical marijuana to delta-8, Missouri's cannabis industry is moving at a rapid pace. According to Missouri’s Division of Cannabis Regulation, the state recently surpassed $2.29 billion in total sales, generated over $100M in taxes and fees, and added millions in local revenues with the 3% adult use excise tax. Today, we are witnessing the historic unfolding of marijuana reclassification under the federal Controlled Substance Act. This presentation gives an overview of marijuana legalization under the Missouri Constitution, federal reclassification, and current issues in Missouri and federal cannabis litigation, legislation, and regulation.
