Fact: Estate & inheritance tax is more complicated for immigrants.
In this program, Ms. Mahadevan will talk about the general goals of estate planning and why it is important for immigrants to address it and get it done. Most immigrants are not aware of federal and state taxes, estate tax, and inheritance tax. The primary goal is to reduce and minimize taxes. This program will also discuss some relevant strategies along with the goals of probate avoidance and other issues of trust administration that may confront immigrants.
Speaker: Nalini S. Mahadevan, MLO Law LLC, St. Louis
