This seminar will focus on the arbitrator’s role in the arbitration process. We will review arbitration procedure and cover pre-hearing case management, including scheduling conferences, drafting scheduling orders, discovery issues, managing the hearing, drafting awards and post award issues. The program will also cover ethical issues for arbitrators, working with pro se parties, a review of key arbitration statutes, as well as practice tips for protecting the award.
