Tens of thousands of collection actions are filed in Missouri courts each year. Many of these cases end up with a default judgment being entered against the consumer. This presentation will discuss how to not only effectively defend these cases, but strategies for turning the tables and bringing an effective claim against the creditor or other parties associated with the lawsuit.

Christopher E. Roberts is a partner at Butsch Roberts & Associates LLC in St. Louis. Mr. Roberts’s practice is focused on representing consumers in class action cases. His cases have resulted in tens of millions of dollars being paid to consumers and millions of dollars of debt being eliminated for consumers.
