An experienced litigator, Mike has litigated a variety of civil cases, including personal injury, complex commercial disputes, employment, real estate, and professional malpractice claims. He has first and second chair trial experience and has successfully handled proceedings at every level of the Missouri court system.
Sam LaRoque is a third-year associate in the intellectual property litigation group at Shook, Hardy & Bacon LLP in Kansas City, Missouri. He handles a mix of plaintiff and defense work, focusing primarily on patent and copyright issues
Peter Montecuollo is a trial lawyer who defends complex product liability matters, specializing in pharmaceutical drug litigation. He also has experience defending intellectual property, professional responsibility, and complex commercial matters.
Leland Shurin is a member of the Missouri, Kansas and Arizona Bar Associations. His practice has included representing individuals, charities, governmental agencies and small businesses, as well as Fortune 500 companies. His representation has included business matters and litigation both as plaintiffs and defendants. For the past 15 years his concentration has been as special master appointed by state and federal courts, as well as arbitrator, mediator and receiver.
