An overview of the Bitcoin, Ethereum, and decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols. The presenters will discuss the creation of Bitcoin and DeFi protocols, as well as the myriad legal questions facing the industry. The program is designed for beginners with no prior experience with cryptocurrencies.

Andrew is Chair of the firm’s Digital Currency & Blockchain Technology Practice Group. He represents businesses and investors in litigation related to digital assets and advises clients on regulatory and compliance issues.
Andrew is also an experienced commercial litigator. He has successfully tried cases to resolution in state and federal court, in arbitration, and before administrative commissions.
Sandy Boxerman co-founded Capes Sokol in 2001. He chairs the firm's White Collar Criminal Defense practice group and also handles matters involving Criminal and Civil Tax Controversy and Digital Currency and Blockchain Technology. He graduated from Harvard Law School in 1988.
