In this presentation, Laura Clark Fey, PLS (IAPP), AIGP, FIP, CIPP/EU, CIPP/US, CIPM, will address the importance of carefully considering ethical rules and risks in making AI choices. Laura will first address the rapidly evolving usage of AI in the practice of law. Then, she will highlight key ethical obligations relevant to lawyers’ decisions to use and to refrain from using AI tools. She will conclude her presentation by walking through AI ethics scenarios.
