Impact Disability Law

David Stevens attended law school in his 40s and settled into Social Security disability law as his preferred form of representation. Dave had a solo disability practice while concurrently making hundreds of disability hearing appearances over several years for nationwide firms needing assistance in his area. Dave was hired as an Attorney Advisor by the Social Security Administration in 2018 and was assigned to a National Hearing Center where he worked directly with Administrative Law Judges. Within the SSA, Dave prepared case overviews for Judges before hearings and drafted decisions from their notes after hearings. Eventually, he was promoted to training coworkers and performing quality review. Dave retired from Federal service in the Spring of 2025 and returned to the claimant's side of Social Security disability representation with Impact Disability Law. Dave has a wealth of experience on both sides of disability law.
