Originally presented on: May 21, 2019

While not the most common question that enters your door, long-term care insurance contracts do crop up. This CLE webinar will review the types of contracts, teach you how to read the relevant portions of the contract and give an overview of the claim process so you are better able to answer clients’ questions on these types of contracts. It will also give you a ready tool to gauge claim eligibility as well as provide additional resources for you and for your clients who are choosing to file a claim.

  • Know the broad types of contracts they may come across
  • Understand where to find the benefits in the contract
  • Be able to identify if someone is medically eligible for claim
  • Recognize the basic steps in claim processing
  • Have resources for themselves and clients who need to file a claim
