Press reports frequently carry stories of disputes, controversies, and confusion about the Sunshine Law. Boards, committees, and other entities are often unsure of the reach of the law and sometimes unaware of its existence and applicability. They have many questions:

  • Are they subject to the Sunshine Law?
  • What meetings are open meetings, and what process needs to be followed?
  • What records are open records?
  • What are the exceptions?
  • When can a meeting or record be closed?
  • What is the process?

Get information you need to answer those questions and more in this updated Guidebook by author Nathan M. Nickolaus.
