Alan is a litigator who resolves complex disputes for Shook’s business clients. Handling all aspects of litigation, he has particular strength in investigating novel and complex legal issues in order to formulate innovative and cost-effective solutions for clients.
He has experience in toxic tort litigation, as well as business and employment litigation. He has represented clients in motion hearings, arbitration and mediation, at trial, and in negotiation of settlements in both court-ordered and informal settings. Massachusetts Super Lawyers has named Alan a "Rising Star."
During law school, Alan served as a judicial intern to the Hon. Dolores K. Sloviter, Senior Circuit Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and interned for the in-house legal department of a national warehouse retailer and the tax department of a major U.S. defense contractor.
