After obtaining her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City, Amanda had the privilege of clerking for two distinguished judges in Jackson County. Subsequently, in 2007, Amanda established her own private practice focusing on family law in both Missouri and Kansas. As a true sole practitioner and mediator, Amanda provides each client with personalized service and practical solutions.
Amanda is a dedicated family law attorney with a deep understanding of the complexities and challenges faced by families in the legal system. During law school, Amanda proudly represented clients through the Child and Family Services Clinic as well as the Guardian ad Litem Clinic, helping children obtain permanency. Her involvement with the law school has continued through volunteering as a supervising attorney for UMKC law students. Amanda also worked as a contract attorney for Hope House, helping domestic violence victims navigate the legal system and obtain the protection and support they need. Whether handling complex divorces involving significant assets and businesses or an uncontested paternity action, she is a fierce advocate for her clients, fighting to tirelessly ensure that their rights are protected. 
Amanda is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, serving as the president elect of the Family and the Law Section, Association of Women Lawyers, and the Johnson County, Kansas Family Law Inns of Court.
