Ms. Irwin has over 20 years of experience working in the legal field; first as a paralegal, and then as an attorney. Her work history has exposed her to many different areas of law including personal injury, criminal defense, and family law.

As a young attorney, Ms. Irwin was appointed by the Court on behalf of children in custody and juvenile actions in which abuse or neglect was alleged. During this time, she realized how much of a need there was for zealous advocates in family law. This has become her main focus, and Ms. Irwin still serves as a Court-appointed Guardian ad Litem, since helping kids is truly where her passion lies.

Ms. Irwin has handled an appeal in the Western District Court of Appeals, including the oral argument which was held at the University of Central Missouri (UCM) in front of more than 100 audience members.
