David Heinemann represents individuals and business both as plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts throughout the United States. He has significant experience in a wide range of litigation matters, including product liability defense, insurance coverage litigation, appellate practice, business litigation, consumer class actions, and employment claims. He is a founding member of Shank & Heinemann.
Mr. Heinemann graduated magna cum laude from the Duke University School of Law in 1987, where he was selected to the Order of the Coif. He was also elected to the staff of the Duke Law Journal and served on its editorial board. Following law school, he served as a judicial law clerk to Judge James K. Logan of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit from 1987 to 1988. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia (magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) in 1984.
