Hon. Jason Lamb

Circuit Judge 12th Circuit


Hon. Jason Lamb is the Presiding Judge of the 12th Circuit, comprised of Audrain, Montgomery and Warren counties.  He previously served as the Executive Director of the Missouri Office of Prosecution Services, the Audrain County Prosecuting Attorney, practiced law with the Seigfreid Law Firm, and clerked for Hon. Duane Benton at the Supreme Court of Missouri.  Judge Lamb currently serves on the Criminal Justice Task Force as chair of the Pre-Trial Risk Assessment Tool Working Group; the Presiding Judge Executive Committee; the Combatting Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence Commission; and the Trial Judge Education Committee.  He previously served as co-chair of the Missouri Bar Criminal Code Revision Committee, president of the National Association of Prosecutor Coordinators, a member of the Missouri Court Automation Committee, and a board member of the Missouri Association of Treatment Court Professionals.  Judge Lamb is a graduate of the University of Missouri (B.A. history, minor East Asian studies), and Tulane School of Law.  He resides in his hometown of Mexico, Missouri with his wife, Vanessa and their two sons, Jackson and Brooks, where is active with the First Presbyterian Church, the Mexico Rotary Club, and as a Scout leader.
