Joshua Harrel

Josh Harrel is the chief assistant prosecuting attorney with the Greene County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. Prior to joining the GCPA in 2016, Josh worked as an assistant attorney general with the Missouri Attorney General’s Office for 10 years. During his time at the AGO, Josh worked in both the Consumer Protection Division, handling both civil and criminal consumer protection enforcement cases, and the Public Safety Division, working primarily as a special prosecutor on felony cases throughout the southern half of Missouri. In addition to his supervision and administrative duties, Josh currently focuses primarily on complex property/fraud cases and violent crime prosecutions.
