James W. Tippin & Associates
Keith Cutler is a trial attorney with the law firm of James W. Tippin & Associates in Kansas City, practicing in the areas of commercial, construction, general liability, and insurance defense litigation. In 30 years of practice, he has first-chaired over 75 civil trials, in addition to arguments before the Courts of Appeals in Missouri and Kansas, and the Missouri Supreme Court. He is a Lon Hocker Memorial Trial Award winner, and a past President of both the Jackson County Bar Association and the Young Lawyers Section of the KCMBA. Mr. Cutler is an Assistant Editor of the Missouri Bar's Courts Bulletin, has been published in the Journal of The Missouri Bar, and has authored and reviewed several chapters of The Missouri Bar CLE Deskbooks. Currently, he serves as an appointed member of The Missouri Bar Legal Education Committee, and as an Adjunct Professor of Trial Advocacy at UMKC School of Law, and as co-host (along with his wife, Dana) of the two-time Emmy-nominated, nationally syndicated daytime television courtroom program Couples Court with the Cutlers. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, and his J.D. degree from UMKC.
