Coined the “Divorce Whisperer,” Marta J. Papa is a family law lawyer and mediator in St. Louis, Missouri. As the owner of her own firm, she has dedicated her practice to only family law matters for the past 25 years. 
Marta combines her knowledge of family law with her post-graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the prestigious Menninger Institute of Psychiatry to help clients navigate the emotional as well as legal aspects of divorce.
Marta is a nationally recognized speaker and educator on divorce, mediation and alternative ways of helping clients resolve disputes outside the courtroom when possible. Marta has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Time Magazine, Sky Radio, The Post Dispatch, St. Louis Magazine, Marie Claire magazine, just to name a few, in addition to receiving recognition locally for her educational programs teaching mediation to Judges & Lawyers for the Missouri and Illinois Supreme Courts. 
She is currently working on her first book, 7 Secrets from the Divorce Whisperer: How to save yourself, your money and your children during divorce.
