Mr. Shipley graduated in 1985 from of the University of Missouri Law School as a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the Order of the Coif.  Following a clerkship with U.S. District Judge Howard Sachs, he has spent over 35 years in small firm and solo practice, concentrating on civil and criminal litigation as well appellate practice.  He has served as lead counsel in dozens of jury and bench trials and approximately 30 appeals in the Missouri Court of Appeals, Missouri Supreme Court and United States Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit.  Over the years he has presented numerous CLE’s on a variety of topics on behalf of the Missouri Bar Association, NBI, the Missouri Municipa
