Randy Alberhasky

Born in Iowa City, Iowa in 1966, Randy Alberhasky received his B.S. in Economics Cum Laude from the University of Iowa in 1988 and graduated in from the University of Missouri School of Law in Columbia in 1994. Since establishing his own law practice in 1996, he has represented thousands of injured workers and their families as a workers’ compensation attorney.
During his legal career he has personally tried over 200 workers’ compensation hearings and jury trials in courts throughout the State of Missouri including Kansas City, Joplin, Springfield, Jefferson City, Camdenton, West Plains, Lebanon, Willow Springs, Columbia and St. Louis. He has been counsel in over 50 cases before the Missouri Labor and Industrial Relations Commission, 35 cases in front of the Missouri Court of Appeals and 3 cases before the Missouri Supreme Court.
Twice, at the request of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA), he has written amicus briefs to the Missouri Supreme Court on issues deemed to be of great importance to workers throughout the State of Missouri. He is a longtime member of MATA, where he has served on the Board of Governors for several years. Mr. Alberhasky currently serves on the executive committee for MATA.
Mr. Alberhasky is actively involved in several not-for-profit entities including the St. Joseph Catholic Academy, where he serves on the school board. He is a co-founder of the Major Mike Martinez scholarship fund at the University of Missouri School of Law, established in honor of the 1998 graduate of the University of Missouri School of Law who died in a helicopter crash while serving in the Army and stationed in Iraq. His law firm is a sponsor of the University of Missouri Law School Veterans Clinic. The proud father of five children, he has served as a Den Leader and Cubmaster for his two younger sons in Cub Scout Pack 11, which includes the Rountree & Sunshine schools.
