Ray Williams is a solo practitioner with Williams Law Offices, with offices in West Plains and Eminence. He is also a member of the 37th Circuit Bar Association.
Ray was elected 2018-19 president of The Missouri Bar. He was elected in 2008 to the Missouri Bar Board of Governors. He represented rural attorneys in District 13 (Carter, Crawford, Dent, Franklin, Gasconade, Howell, Iron, Maries, Oregon, Osage, Phelps, Pulaski, Reynolds, Shannon, Texas and Wayne counties).
Ray holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering, cum laude, from the Missouri University of Science and Technology and an M.B.A. from the University of Missouri - Columbia. He also received his law degree from MU, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif, Order of Barristers, and Board of Advocates; he was also editor-in-chief of the Missouri Law Review.
Following his graduation, Ray served as law clerk to Judge John R. Gibson, U.S. Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit, from 1995 to 1996.
