Mr. Wendt graduated in 1967 from the University of Missouri School of Law. Bob was a St. Louis criminal defense attorney from 1967 to the late 70’s.  Bob succumbed to alcoholism and was disbarred in January of 1981.  In 1982, Bob was convicted in federal District Court of conspiracy to effectuate a jail break.  He served time from February,1983 to  July 1983.  Bob came to AA in October 1983.
He was reinstated in May of 1989.  From readmission to present, he is a Civil litigation trial attorney specializing in products liability and FELA.  
Bob received a Presidential Pardon-in January of 2001.  He is the current President of Missouri Lawyers Substance Abuse Foundation, founded in July, 2024.”
