Ryan serves as Husch Blackwell's Deputy General Counsel. In that role, he helps the firm and its lawyers navigate ethics, manage risk, and prevent loss. In recent years, he has spent considerable time providing advice relating to various states' rules and opinions addressing the unauthorized and multi-jurisdictional practice of law – as Husch Blackwell opened "The Link" and many lawyers became more likely to be engaged in the remote practice of law.
