Scott Pool has been successfully litigating cases in Missouri since 1993. Scott is rated "A V" (the highest rating possible) by Martindale-Hubbell in the categories of Litigation, Medical Malpractice, Professional Liability, Legal Ability and Ethical Standards. Scott focuses his practice in the areas of general civil litigation; medical malpractice defense; insurance defense; construction/surety litigation; employer and employee issues, including discrimination and harassment; professional licensing and governmental issues; and workers compensation.

Scott has been in private practice with Gibbs Pool and Turner, P.C., since 1999. His practice is concentrated on complex litigation. Scott developed litigation experience immediately after law school while an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Missouri. As an Assistant Attorney General, Scott prosecuted serious criminal felonies and fraud on behalf of the State and prosecuted cases for the medical related licensing boards. He handled some of its most serious cases. Scott has significate trial practice experience (state and federal) and administrative hearing practice, including labor and employment law. Additionally, he has practiced before all three Districts of the Missouri Courts of Appeal and the Missouri Supreme Court. He is also licensed in the Western and Eastern District Court of Missouri, and has argued before the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a former law clerk to Chief Justice Charles Blackmar. He is the past President of the Cole County Bar Association. Scott played Division I football in college on a full varsity athletic scholarship.
