Scott A. Schaffer is the Chief Information Security Officer at Blade Technologies, Inc. and the Chief Investigator for Watermark Forensic Services & Litigation Support LLC. Mr. Schaffer is responsible for establishing and directing the strategic long-term technology goals as well as creating policies and procedures, standard operating procedures, and staff development materials. Mr. Schaffer is an experienced information systems management professional and provides innovative information systems solutions for his clients and team. His areas of expertise include: network infrastructure, cybersecurity incident response, security auditing, IT governance, digital forensic investigations, litigation support, and related services. Scott’s experiences include the development of courses, textbooks, and interactive training software for Windows systems as well as authoring, coordinating and delivering technical training for Novell and Microsoft networking technologies. Scott has also served a network administrator of several Novell NetWare and Microsoft Windows wide area networks. In September of 2004, Mr. Schaffer founded Blade Technologies, Inc. and currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer where he leverages his cybersecurity, information system governance, and information systems auditing skills to assist organizations throughout the region. In January of 2011, Scott founded Watermark Forensic Services and Litigation Support, LLC and currently serves as the Chief Investigator where he focuses on digital investigations and forensic engagements. He is a frequent speaker and contributor to several media outlets including KPLR-TV, KTVI-TV KTRS-AM, WGN-AM, and FoxNews.com as well as formally serving as a monthly columnist of the St. Louis PC Journal, The Family Network, and Small Business Television.
