Judge Steven Ward was appointed to Associate Circuit Judge for Christian County by Governor Michael Parson in January 2022. Judge Ward is the Family Law judge for Christian County and handles domestic relations matters as well small claims and landlord/tenant cases for the Circuit. Before his appointment, Judge Ward was a partner with Turner, Reid, Duncan, Loomer & Patton, PC, of Springfield, Missouri, and most recently was of counsel with the McAfee & Taft, in its Springfield, Missouri office. Immediately after graduating law school from UMKC in 1994, Judge Ward served as a law clerk for the Honorable Russell G. Clark, District Judge for the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
