Yara’s practice focuses on business litigation matters concerning biometric privacy for clients in a variety of industries. Yara drafts motions, manages discovery and prepares witnesses for trial. She has worked on several Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) class actions, including Miller v. Southwest Co.
Yara’s experience includes researching and drafting legal arguments related to different stages of litigation including motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment and oppositions to motions for summary judgment. Her involvement in law school in advanced mock trial and moot court have provided her with relevant litigation experience in oral and written advocacy.
