Fran Barbieri has been the Chief Counsel for Litigation and Employment at World Wide Technology since 2020. In this role, she oversees the litigation and employment law for the company. Prior to coming to WWT, Fran was employment counsel for U.S. Bank, and previously practiced employment law at Littler Mendelson, PC. Fran cares deeply about community service and advancing DEI in the workplace. She is currently the leader of WWT Ohana, the employee resource group for Asian and Pacific Islander employees and allies; President of the board of directors for non-profit Nurses for Newborns; and a board member for the Asian American Chamber of Commerce. She previously served as President of the Missouri Asian American Bar Association. Fran graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia and from the Washington University School of Law.
Judge Clayton is a graduate of Hannibal Public Schools, Southern Methodist University and the University of Missouri—Kansas City School of Law. Prior to joining the bench, Judge Clayton was in private practice as a partner at Clayton & Curl, in Hannibal (1994-2003). He also served as State Representative (1994-2002), and was appointed to the Public Service Commission in 2003 (Chairman 2009-2011). He was appointed to the Bench in 2011 and retained by the voters in November 2012. He served as Chief Judge 2013-2014. He is active in numerous bar associations, regionally and nationally. He serves as First Vice President of The State Historical Society of Missouri, a Trustee of the Supreme Court of Missouri Historical Society, and Board member of the MACC Foundation. He is President of Affordable Community Education, Inc., a higher education non-profit serving Northeast Missouri. He is a member of the Hannibal YMCA Men’s Club. He is married with two opinionated daughters.
Laura Clubb is an attorney with The Clubb Law Firm, LLC, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She has been in private practice for sixteen years and focuses her practice on employment law and family law. Since entering private practice, Laura has conducted more than 200 bench trials and has appeared in more than three dozen counties in Missouri, before the Southern and Eastern District Courts of Appeal, and before the Missouri Supreme Court. Laura graduated in 1993 from Missouri State University and is a 1998 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Missouri Environmental Law and Policy Review and was awarded the Thomas Deacy, Jr., award for excellence in trial advocacy. Laura spent the first ten years of her career with the Missouri Attorney General’s office, where she was attorney-manager of the Consumer Complaint Unit and Chief Counsel of the Consumer Protection Division. Laura and her husband, attorney J.P. Clubb, established The Clubb Law Firm, LLC, in 2007.
Raymond Dake is a partner at the law firm of Siro Smith Dickson PC in Kansas City, Missouri and represents plaintiffs in employment litigation matters, including discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, and wage and hour issues, and personal injury litigation.
Sarah Jane Hunt is an accomplished attorney who focuses her practice in civil rights, employment and special education disputes. She has extensive experience representing sober homes, disability rights agencies, and individuals in fair housing matters in federal and state court. Sarah Jane also litigates collective and class actions relating to unpaid wages and overtime under both the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and state wage and hour laws.
Dean’s passion is assisting employers build the systems, cultures, and procedures to create an environment that allows employees to perform at their best while being their authentic selves in the workplace. He leverages his unique background as a Labor and Employment Attorney, a community advocate, and personal life experiences to address conflicts from all angles and create relationships that lead to lasting organizational change. For nearly a decade,
Dean has devoted his practice to representing employers in traditional labor matters, including providing labor guidance, defending unfair labor practice charges in front of the National Labor Relations Board (“NLRB”), and defending alleged violations of collective bargaining agreements. Dean also has extensive experience providing supervisor training and representing employers in representation proceedings before the NLRB.
Christyona Pham is a Senior Benefits Advisor for the U.S. Department of Labor, Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA). Ms. Pham has been part of EBSA's Office of Outreach, Education, and Assistance (OEA) since August 2016. OEA administers the Participant and Compliance Outreach, Education and Assistance Program. One aspect of the program is providing participant and compliance assistance directly to the public by answering inquiries and complaints received by phone, mail, electronically or in person. Prior to starting as a Benefits Advisor, Ms. Pham was a student intern for EBSA from November 2015 to May 2015. Ms. Pham obtained her B.A. in Psychology at the University of Missouri in 2012 and her J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2016.
Emma R. Schuering is a shareholder at Polsinelli PC, where she specializes in representing companies in litigation involving restrictive covenants, trade secrets and claims of discrimination, retaliation and harassment. Emma represents employers in all stages of litigation, from the earliest phases of a dispute through trial and appeal.
Jason Sengheiser is a Circuit Judge in the Twenty-Second Judicial Circuit Court for the City of St. Louis
Sengheiser received a B.A. in Environmental Science and a B.A. in German Studies from Saint Louis University in 2000, a J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2003, and an LL.M. from Columbia Law School in 2006.
