Leader of the firm's Insolvency & Commercial Bankruptcy team, John counsels clients on bankruptcy, insolvency, creditors' rights and commercial litigation matters.
He regularly represents debtors, trustee, creditors, committees and buyers in bankruptcy actions, and he has substantial bankruptcy experience within the manufacturing industry. He effectively defends many bankruptcy preference and fraudulent transfer actions on behalf of manufacturers and other firm clients. He is board-certified in business and consumer bankruptcy law by the American Board of Certification and is a CPA in Missouri.
Andrew (Drew) Goodwin is an experienced litigator who focuses the majority of his practice on representing plaintiffs in complex cases involving catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death—particularly matters involving commercial motor vehicles, insurance bad faith, traumatic brain injuries, and fires.
When Drew says he has extensive experience with matters involving commercial motor vehicle accidents, he means it. He has litigated trucking cases in more than 20 states, and he draws on that background to obtain superior results for his personal injury clients. An aggressive trial attorney who has handled everything from insurance coverage and bad faith to products liability and complex business disputes, Drew has a keen skill for maximizing the value of a case by convincing juries, judges, and opposing counsel of that value. As chair of the firm’s personal injury practice group, Drew has recovered millions of dollars for his clients, including numerous seven-figure results.
Libby is an associate in Armstrong Teasdale’s Financial and Real Estate Services practice group. Her practice includes counseling clients involved in real estate transactions, including commercial leasing, purchase and sale, and financing. In addition to her real estate practice, Libby draws on her previous experience as a judicial law clerk in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas to help her clients navigate issues involving restructuring, insolvency, or bankruptcy. Libby is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and the American Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division, Business Law Section, and Business Bankruptcy Committee.
An associate in the firm’s Financial and Real Estate Services practice group, Kristen Koerber advises clients in all facets of real estate and finance transactions.
Kristen focuses her practice on representing municipalities, developers, investors, financial institutions, governmental bodies and other public and private entities in all aspects of real estate transactions, including the acquisition, sale, leasing, financing, development and construction of real property. She counsels clients on matters involving the issuance of notes and bonds related to Missouri Chapter 100, community improvement districts (CIDs), tax increment financing (TIF), transportation development districts (TDDs) and Kansas industrial revenue bonds (IRBs).
In addition, Kristen regularly drafts closing documents including estoppel certificates, various types of deeds, opinion letters, assignment and licensing agreements, corporate resolutions and third-party consents. She also drafts motions and petitions in complex litigation cases involving commercial transactions, banking, creditors’ rights, real estate and construction.
Her prior experience as a judicial intern and research assistant lends to her ability to assist with a wide range of contentious and noncontentious matters.
Camille Roe is a senior litigation associate whose practice covers the spectrum of employment litigation, including both state and federal claims.
Camille developed substantial trial experience, having litigated numerous labor and employment matters. Her experience includes both suits by private parties and by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). She has handled cases involving claims of race, age, disability, and sex discrimination, as well as sexual harassment and retaliatory discharge. She has experience dealing with the EEOC and the U.S. Department of Labor, as well as state and local labor and employment agencies.
In addition, Camille is certified in dispute resolution, and as a neutral, she has resolved a number of employment disputes in mediation.
Camille also routinely counsels clients on a variety of employment practices, including employment contracts and employee handbooks and policies. She conducts employee training seminars and harassment investigations, and frequently speaks on employment-related topics.
Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale, Camille was an associate in the Kansas City offices of a nationwide employment law firm.
While attending law school, Camille served as a legal intern with the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Solicitor, where she assisted with investigating and litigating OSHA, MSHA and FLSA claims.
