Description

Sponsored by MoBarCLE & The Missouri Bar Young Lawyers' Section

We will bring together lawyers who founded their own firms to discuss “going out on your own” and what all that entails. We will talk about the business of law and its ups and downs. We will weave in ethical discussion on market positioning, advertising, and trust accounting and how our panelists handled that when they started their own practices. We will talk about the battle stories and the successes of owning your own firm. Importantly, we will discuss the need for mentorship and community for lawyers who are also entrepreneurs.

Panelists: Kimberly Benjamin, Benjamin Law Firm, Belton; Yevgeniy ‘Jason’ Kotlyarov, Rouse Frets White Goss Gentile Rhodes PC, Kansas City; Mira Mdivani, Mdivani Corporate Immigration Law Firm, Kansas City; Ashley J. Moore, Moore Legal LLC, St. Louis
