Scotty Allen is General Counsel for the Missouri Veterans Commission in Jefferson City. He also served in the Army and the Air Force on active duty, the reserves and national guard for 27 years. He is a graduate of Southwest Missouri State University and the Washington University School of Law.
Christine A. Alsop, owner of The Elder and Disability Law Firm of Christine A. Alsop, LLC has extensive elder law experience as well as significant litigation and advocacy experience. She graduated from Valparaiso University School of Law, where she was honored for her outstanding work in trial advocacy. She has provided advice for both institutional and individual fiduciaries. Susan L. Amato, J.D. is an attorney and mediator, in private practice in Clayton, Missouri, practicing exclusively in the family law area. She received her law degree from Washington University in St. Louis and focuses her practice on resolution of disputes through mediation and collaborative practice, when appropriate.
Melinda J. Bentley serves as Legal Ethics Counsel, and she provides oral and written informal advisory opinions to attorneys on issues related to the Missouri Rules of Professional Conduct. In that position, she also serves as administrator and counsel to the Advisory Committee of the Supreme Court of Missouri. She began serving in that position in 2012. Prior to that she worked for the Illinois State Bar Association. She is a frequent speaker and author on professional responsibility matters. Ms. Bentley currently serves as a member of the American Bar Association Standing Committee on Ethics and Professional Responsibility. She also currently serves on the Planning Committee for The Missouri Bar Solo and Small Firm Conference, and is a member of The Missouri Bar, Illinois State Bar Association, American Bar Association, National Organization of Bar Counsel, Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, and Cole County Bar Association. She was a board member and officer of the National Organization of Bar Counsel from 2015-2020, including a term as President from 2018-2019, and formerly served as a member (2015-2016) and Chair (2016-2018) of the Editorial Board of the ABA/BNA Lawyers’ Manual on Professional Conduct.
Raymond Bolourtchi has achieved national recognition for his expertise in immigration and criminal defense matters. Meagan Zimmer Breeze is a partner at Kramer, Hand, Buchholz & Partney in Jefferson County. Meagan was a GAL in juvenile court and currently serves as GAL, mediator and parent coordinator in family court, as well as practicing family law, personal injury, worker's compensation and social security law.
Martha Brown is a Certified Elder Law Attorney. Her firm, Mitchell, Brown & Associates concentrates on the unique legal needs of the elderly and individuals with disabilities. Judge Sarah Castle was appointed as Circuit Judge of Division 1, Jackson County on October 20, 2020. At the time of her appointment, she was serving as Associate Circuit Judge of Division 27. Prior to taking the bench, Judge Castle served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Jackson County.
Creighton J. Cohn has focused his practice on consumer law and personal injury since 2000. He represents individuals in areas including improper credit reporting, consumer fraud, unfair and deceptive acts, abusive debt collection, debtors’ rights, identity theft, and warranty and lemon law in addition to personal injury claims. He is a frequent speaker on consumer law related topics. He has litigated many consumer and personal injury cases, and also participated in numerous mediations and arbitrations. Patrick J. Connaghan has been the Probate Commissioner for the 22nd Judicial Circuit (City of St. Louis) since 2007. Prior to his appointment as Probate Commissioner, he served for twelve years as General Counsel for the St. Louis City Board of Aldermen. He is a Past President of the Missouri Association of Probate and Associate Circuit Judges. He is a 2009 Science and Technology Fellow for The Advanced Science and Technology Adjudication Resource Center (ASTAR) in Washington D.C. He was the 2014 recipient of the Isabella Horton Grant Guardianship Award from the National College of Probate Judges. Commissioner Connaghan is a graduate of St. Louis University School of Law.
Hon. Deborah Daniels serves as a senior judge, after almost 12 years as an ACJ. She was an adjunct professor of law from 1983-2013. Before joining the bench, she was chief counsel at the Missouri Attorney General's Office and was an assistant prosecuting attorney in Boone County. She is an ASTAR (NCSI) judge.
Brennan Delaney's practice for the past 10 years has focused on representing clients who have suffered a catastrophic injury or lost a loved one. Prior to that, he spent four years as law clerk - two for Circuit Court Judge Michael Manners and two for Missouri Supreme Court Judge Zel Fischer.
Kelly Dillon is an investigative examiner-paralegal for the Missouri Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel where her duties include oversight of the Trust Account Overdraft Notification Program, conducting financial examinations and other investigations. Kelly is a Certified Fraud Examiner and has been with the Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel since 2001.
William Dodson is a sole practitioner in Jefferson County. He serves as a Guardian ad Litem and represents parents and other parties in Juvenile and Family Court proceedings there. Mr. Dodson spends a large portion of his time mediating child custody and other disputes.
Claude E. Ducloux, is an attorney licensed in Texas, Colorado and California who speaks nationally on legal ethics, law office management, and trial-related topics. In 2011, he won the highest statewide award from the State Bar of Texas for lifetime contribution to CLE and has been invited to speak in more than 500 programs in since January 1, 2016. Simone Haberstock has been a family law attorney for 30 years and a mediator for 20 years. She acquired a Masters of Law in Dispute Resolution from University of Missouri School of Law in 2013 where she did IRB approved research on a mediation-arbitration process. Since graduating, she has founded a non-profit mediation service, Confluence Missouri, Inc.; served on the Mediation and Parenting Coordination Oversight Committee in St. Louis County Circuit Court; and worked on a number of court-connected ADR and problem-solving court projects across the state. She recently completed an interview research project of Missouri litigants who used mandatory mediation and has assisted in the production of two videos for the public on ADR processes. She has mediated over 400 cases including family, small business, employment, landlord-tenant, and small claims matters. Ms. Haberstock has spoken and presented on a variety mediation and ADR topics, including the decision- making process, at both national and statewide conferences. She also served on the Board of Governors for the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis for 10 years and is the immediate past-president of the Missouri Chapter of Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.
Sheena R. Hamilton is a partner at Dowd Bennett LLP in St. Louis, Missouri. She concentrates on employment litigation and corporate internal investigations. Primarily, Ms. Hamilton defends employers in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies. She tries cases alleging employment discrimination, harassment and retaliation, as well as wage and hour disputes, to verdict and through appeals.
Ms. Hamilton regularly speaks and writes on employment law. Gary Oxenhandler is a retired Circuit Court Judge. He now mediates and arbitrates. He currently serves on the Missouri Supreme Court’s Commission on Racial and Ethnic Fairness. For the past 40 years, Gary has studied jail populations on local, state and national levels and is a continuing student of the role that implicit bias plays in our decision-making. Gary is an avid but old handball player. Gary and Janet have been married for 52 years. Gary believes that whatever he has achieved in his life is the result of being Janet’s husband and Josh’s dad.

Judge Mark D. Pfeiffer was appointed to the Missouri Court of Appeals in 2009, served the Court as its Chief Judge from 2016-18, and still presently serves as one of the eleven judges on the Western District. Prior to joining the Court, Pfeiffer was a partner in a small firm.
Sam Phillips is Deputy Chief Counsel for the Missouri Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel. Sam has served on the Board of Directors of the National Organization of Bar Counsel and was that Board’s liaison to the ABA’s Lawyer Competence Committee.

Scott Pierson is an accomplished criminal defense attorney and partner at Twibell Pierson Criminal Law in Springfield, Missouri. He works closely with non-profits, including SMBA's Clean Slate Clinic, in offering expungement services for indigent clients.
Sara Rittman is an Assistant Attorney General, unit leader, and serves on the office's Professional Responsibility Committee. She practiced legal ethics and attorney discipline law for 26 years, including private practice, as Missouri's first Legal Ethics Counsel, and at OCDC. She was an AAG from 1981-1993 in the licensing unit.
Associate Circuit Judge Janette Rodecap was appointed to the bench in 2014. Before that, she served as a Jackson County prosecutor and as a judicial law clerk for the Supreme Court of Palau and U.S. District Court Judge Nanette Laughrey. She graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law.
Judge David Roither is an Associate Circuit Judge in the 22nd Judicial Circuit of the State of Missouri. Judge Roither has been a member of the Missouri Bar since 1999 and was in a litigation practice with his former partner the Honorable Jeffrey Medler from December, 2000, through January, 2018.
Richard L. Rollings, Jr. provides contract legal work to other attorneys. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law, cum laude, in 1992. He was a 2002 recipient of the David J. Dixon Appellate Advocacy Award. His practice includes appellate work as well as research and drafting services.
Christine Rosengreen practices in all areas of family law, including but not limited to, divorce, paternity, modification, guardianship, Guardian ad Litem and adoption. She earned her bachelor of arts degree in English from Kansas State University, and earned her juris doctorate in 2006 from the University of Kansas School of Law.
Amanda Schneider is the Managing Attorney of Legal Services of Eastern Missouri’s Education Justice Program which focuses on addressing education equity issues. Ms. Schneider was previously the first William G. Guerri Chair in the Children’s Legal Alliance, practicing education law primarily representing children with disabilities and children excluded from school.
Michael Sharma-Crawford is a principal in Sharma-Crawford Attorneys at Law. He has been defending non-citizens in removal proceedings since 2002. In 2011 he and his partner Rekha Sharma-Crawford opened The Clinic, a 501(c)(3) non-profit law clinic that provides representation to indigent non-citizens in the Kansas City Immigration Court.
Grant Shostak is an Associate Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Lindenwood University. In addition to teaching, he maintains a selective criminal defense practice. Fawzy Simon spent five years in the MSPDS, four years at the Cisar Law Firm in Lake Ozark, Missouri and opened his own criminal defense office in Camdenton in 2017. Presently defense counsel - Camden County Treatment Courts, Secretary of MACDL, member of the Supreme Court's Task Force for Criminal Justice.
Christian A. Stiegemeyer is the Director of Risk Management for The Bar Plan Mutual Insurance Company where he helps lawyers arrive at practical solutions to a wide variety of ethical and legal malpractice issues. He received his J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law.
H. Morley Swingle, is an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Boone County, Missouri. He previously served as the Prosecuting Attorney for Cape Girardeau County, as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri, as a criminal defense lawyer in Denver, and as a prosecutor in the Armed Offender Unit of the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office. He has tried 178 jury trials and has personally handled 111 homicide cases, including several death penalty cases. He has taught at continuing legal education seminars around the country. He has published several books, both fiction and nonfiction, and is a member of Mystery Writers of America.
Michelle M. Symank is a Member at Evans & Dixon, LLC in the St. Louis office. She exclusively represents Employers and Insurers in the defense of workers' compensation claims before the Division of Workers' Compensation in St. Louis, St. Charles, Cape Girardeau and Jefferson City.

Susan B. Teson is Of Counsel with Kirkland Woods & Martinsen LLP. Recently retired from UMB Bank as Chief Fiduciary Officer, she is also an adjunct professor at UMKC Law School teaching estate planning/drafting and has been a member of the Missouri Bar since 1982, receiving her J.D. from UMKC.
Morris Turek helps individuals, businesses, and organizations of all sizes avoid the devastating effects of being sued for trademark infringement by helping them clear and protect the names, logos, and slogans they use to advertise and sell their products/services. He primarily focuses his practice of law on federal trademark registration.
Judith Westmoreland is a Supervising Attorney at Jackson County CASA in Kansas City, MO where she oversees the newly created CASA Pro Bono Attorney Program, training and supporting attorneys as Guardians ad Litem for children in foster care. She serves on the board of AWL-KC and is active with the KCMBA.
J.C. Weyand is an attorney in Hannibal with significant experience in CA/N Juvenile Cases, as the JO attorney, parents' attorney and GAL. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Hannibal-LaGrange University and has presented variety of different CLEs including breakout sessions at 2019 & 2020 Solo & Small Firm.
Ron Wiesenthal is the owner of the St Louis Mediation & Arbitration Center, LLC. He has all the usual degrees and awards but is most proud of being called Lord Vader by his grandchildren.
Robert J. Wise has practiced law in Missouri since 1975 when he graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia Law School. He specializes in representing rental property owners and managers. He is a frequent speaker to property owners and attorneys on landlord-tenant law, collections, Fair Housing, and related areas and has spoken to Solo & Small firm regarding operating a law office from home. From 1999-2003 he was the executive director of the Missouri Apartment Association. He also currently serves as the executive director of Mid-America Crime Free which educates landlords and managers about crime prevention in rental housing.
Hon. Gary Witt appointed Western District 2010. Previously an Associate Circuit Judge in Platte County 1998 - 2010. Shareholder Witt, Hicklin & Witt, P.C. in Platte City. Married to Angie. Undergraduate degree William Jewell College and law degree MU. State Representative 1991-1996. Received the Appellate Judicial Excellence Award 2020.
